Hello!

What is this site?

I, like many other students at UW-Madison, put my class schedule into apps like Google Calendar for convenience. However, this can be pretty tedious, especially when dealing with reoccuring events and school holidays. With this tool, all you have to do is paste in your course schedule, and it'll give you a formatted .ical file that you can import into the calendar app of your choice.

How do I use this?

  1. Go to UW's Course Schedule page. (Link not working? Go to MyUW → "Course Schedule.")
  2. Select the term you want to generate the schedule for in the dropdown, then click Update.
  3. Copy everything you see below the label "Courses." This should include everything from the title of your first class to the last piece of text on the page. See the video below for any confusion.
  4. Paste the schedule into the box below.
  5. Make sure that all of your classes and their respective times were parsed correctly. If everything looks good, press the "download" button! Instructions for how to use this .ical file are near the button. After importing into your calendar software of choice, double check it for accuracy!
